Sonder Psychotherapy & Wellness helps individuals feel empowered to create and live the life they have always wanted through healing and deepening their awareness of their lives, patterns, and factors from life that contribute to the person they are today. We also help couple’s in all stages of their relationship, from just wanting to do a relationship wellness check to couples in crisis, to changing their patterns of interacting with one another and developing a secure and healthy connection.
You deserve a space to process, feel held and understood, and supported to make the changes you want. In our first session, we’ll understand what brought you to therapy and also what you want out of our time together. We will gather lots of background information to help deepen my understanding of you and your life experiences. If ever we ask a question you don’t feel comfortable answering or discussing yet, you are encouraged to share this feedback with your therapist. Your first appointment is also a place to see if we’re a good match for your needs and ask any questions you may have to feel more comfortable throughout this journey.
Our time can look like talking about whatever is coming up for you, something annoying at work, a difficulty within a relationship of yours, stressful dynamics with family, and the deeper uncomfortable things you may tend to not share with others. We encourage our client’s to take small notes of things that come up throughout their time in betweens sessions to feel more prepared for their therapy session. You’re in control and are the leader of your healing.
